I'll add that all my problems have been observed while testing the Meteor
with a terminal emulator running to see the raw data coming out of the
unit.
I haven't yet had a chance to try it with the ActiveCID software sample
yet.
But I cannot imagine that this would make any difference!

Incidentally, I seem to have lost my VB6 Enterprise Ed. CD. so I haven't
been able to test any of the sample code yet. I found an older VB5 CD and
tried it with that, but it doesn't work. - I get an error when I try to
load
the .vbp file...
