17070 and follow the options.

Please note this is an enginners tool and if there is a fault on your line
you could get locked to the tester. I also dont know if tests are logged.

The ring back option returns a dummy caller ID which I think is
"1234567890" but I could be wrong.

two things I would try is test your line out by dialling the test number
(Keith help me here, I cant remember it) after that try the suggestion
made earlier about swapping over the wires. I would use the remote test
number first.

OK, I just tried it on my main desktop machine, and get exactly the same

effect. - Everything sort of "works", but my ring tone is
definately
affected when the Meteor is active.
