Yes, but I don't see what part this would play - ARP is for IP to MAC
address resolution, my problem is with Domain name to IP address
resolution.
- I actually resolve the wrong IP address, so I don't think it would matter
if I then subsequently resolve anincorrect hardware adress as well... (or
perhaps I'm missing something?)

No, not yet. That's a good idea, I'll give it a go when I get some time...
