I am using Dynsite for windows and it does update the dyndns page. It may
be because I am a bit thick on web servers. My homeseer page is set to
port
81 on the local host. If I put a quick index page on the server, where
would I put it so I can just type in my xxxx.dyndns.org. I could then just
link the homeseer form that (as I still can't find a name for it)

Thanks

Ian

Sounds odd... dyndns works fine with me (http://zz9.dyndns.org/) - Works for
pretty much everything, web servers, ftp servers etc. Are you running
Direct Update (http://directupdate.free.fr), or
WinIP or something on your
machine? (although I don't think you need those to access the box, as far
as
I know, they just update the dyndns site with your current IP).

Might be worth trying dnsQ or one of the other services and seeing if you
get better luck? (I've been lucky but I know people who have had real
problems, and only solved them by creating a new account on dyndns).

Adam.
