AD10 wiring for mains socket

(firstly, apologies if this message appears twice... I initially sent it
from the "wrong" e-mail address, and am not sure if it'll get
though as it's
not my mailing list e-mail! - It's been one of "those" days! :-).

I want to rig a mains socket up to an AD10 to allow X10 control of the
socket... My problem is that the more I think about what to connect to
what,
the more confused I get! :-)

Basically, the AD10 has a L and N at the bottom, which I guess I connect to
the mains ring... Errm, and that's where I get stuck! :-) The live from
the
socket I guess will go to the "L" on the top on the AD10, but
where does the
neutral go - Back to the neutral on the ring?! - The socket will only be
controllable via X10, so I don't need to use a switch connected to the
"1"
or "2" connections on the AD10 (I think!).

I'm sorry to have to ask such a basic question, but as I said above, more I
think about it, the more confused I get, and I don't want to start playing
with the mains until I know what I'm doing! :-) ...would you believe that I
re-wired my house a year ago?!!... Maybe it's time to move!

TIA,
Adam.
