I visited the One-4-All website and selected the upgrade I wanted.

you download a WAV file and play it through the PC speakers whilst holding
the remote near it. (After pressing the required MAGIC Key sequence).

I have 2 identical OFA's and one upgraded, the other didnt :-(

So one of them now controls my digibox.

some of the one-for-alls you can hold up to the phone for the bios upgrade
others have 6 pins which you make a cable up for to plug into a phone jack
or serial port. theres even software to plug the one-for-all into the com
port of a PC and have the PC send commands to it to be relayed to your AV
rack etc.

Showing your age a bit there Steve?

Most people I work with wouldn't know what an acoustic coupler was!
