My distances are quite small as it is in a bungalow, possibly 15m dvd to
panel, 15m panel to tv etc.

I would never claim excellent quality, but for general use quality is fine.
I did have it running through approx 50m of screened alarm cable but never
actually checked the exact quality, I was just toying with ideas. I haven't
done a scart/scart comparison but will try to do this at some time. My
intention is to wire to my sons summerhouse (hut) which is about 100m from
the house in the future. I will try a test at some point through a box of
cat 5 cable. Sorry I can't give definitive answers, but I tend to suck it
and see in such cases. I have read 50m is recommended max for cctv colour,
and I know 100m is fine for b&W with very little degradation (used 100m
reel
of alarm cable).

I have a 48 socket Bull data cat 45 patch panel Krone connections if anyone
wants it, usual terms, i.e. pay the postage. I will try to get some more if
I can.
