I
don't mind at all ... and I'm sure that the other Phil doesn't
either.
I
think that B&Q Basingstoke had mainly light sensors in stock but I will
look
... (Phil : can you drop me an email back and I'll give you my mobile
number so
that if you check Reading and I check Basingstoke then we can tie up our
findings and not end up with six IR sensors!)
Cheers
Phil
Thanks for the help guys... I need three 'IR'
sensors, I'll be more than glad to reimburse for any expenses incurred if
you
have to go out of your way to get these. I'll await your replies -
you
don't mind posting them to me do you - I'll send a cheque in the post as
soon
as you find out.
Steve...
Basingstoke did have motors last week
... I'll
take a look tonight to confirm if I get chance.
I'll check to see what inventory B&Q has
tomorrow and post back. The item I picked up certainly looked
to be an IR sensor and as I recall its packaging implied that it
was, but since I went in to the shop to buy a wooden curtain pole and I
wasn't really too interested in the Swish stuff (since they didn't have
any motors) I wasn't paying to much attention.

Nope ... the light sensor is for dusk/dawn
detection.
Phil
Just to clarify it's the IR sensor - is this
the same piece of kit as the light sensor?
Steve
Similarly B&Q Reading has them
(about 10 when I looked on Tuesday), I think they were around £13,
I'm going tomorrow and could similarly pick some up.

I think that B&Q Basingstoke have some of
the light sensors left ... if anyone needs one then I'll drop
in and see if they have any more.

It is not one of the common anti-temper > screwheads. We did
