Right result today - after Mr Furlong's comments about Ruislip having some
duct kits in, they said they had none. Mick said they were there last Wed.

So, as I was off to B&Q in Yeading - I headed up there - they had 5
kits !
So I swiped 2 for £2 (daft isnt it !)

I'd already put a Novum 7000 aside for me at HB Staines - so I went back ,
and managed to get a discount cause they had no duct kits (hehe) - got it
for £135 - boxed.

Got it home - and one of the castors had shattered - took it back - they
got another one out - it had 2 castors smashed. They then brought out a
display 7000 - I wanted a discount off of what I'd already paid...

I said I'd happily take the 9000 off the shelf as it was used in exchange -
but the manager wasnt having any of it (for some reason - never met him
face to face either)...so matey brought out a used 9000 - it was a bit
worse for wear - so I said could I swap with the better condition one of
the stand - he thought it was chained on there - it wasnt - so he said
"no
cameras here" and let me grab the 9000 display as an exhange..

So result - 9000 Novum for £135 ...O Happy Day...

So I might go back and try to grab another 7000 (!) - I have a spare duct
kit now - but if there's anyone out there wanting one - Ruislip (5 mins
from J3 M4), they have 3 duct kits left...there is a service centre number
and address on the side of my box too - maybe they can provide duct kits
direct ???

BTW - Does this 9000 supposed to make a rattly sound when the compressor is
running ? as though something is loose...
