Re: Split aircon unit, info required
I was able to two planks of wood up to the tailgate of the 4WD and slide
the
air con box into the garage.
I opened it up & separated the two units... the indoor unit was not too
heavy and I could lift it up the stairs a few at a time. Fortunately the
outdoor unit is relatively light (picture climbing the ladder to the 2nd
storey gable end of the house and holding the unit, while feeding the
umbilical cord through a small hole in the wall, then trying to latch the
outdoor unit onto the supplied mounting brackets).
Now the unit is cooling my home office nicely... three monitors, two
servers
and a laptop all throwing out heat and the room is still a very comfortable
21C.
