The ascii commands for both HV and Comfort are very well documented.  Yes, HV can easily detect all Comfort events - inputs changing states, security mode changes, etc.  When I get my second UCM I will be setting up a full-time interface between HV and the UCM and I will document it.  But, until then, feel free to ask questions.

I have, but not on a permanent basis.  I am waiting for a second UCM so I can dedicate one UCM to HV.  I have a second serial port on my HV that I use to connect ot the UCM.
