Nah ... I intend to use a fairly hefty 8 inch centrifugal ventilation fan
extracting through a large cavity which is fairly lightly wadded with
Rockwool. The Rockwool will reduce the airflow which is why it needs to be
a
hefty ventilation fan but it will also reduce significantly the sound
leakage ... also because the vent area will be about 9ft x 6in (i.e. the
"step" up to a raised sort of stage area) then the air velocity
will be low
anough not to be audiable.
