The hose between the internal and external units can be disconnected using
a
couple of spanners but I would suggest that this is only done once or twice
as it must cause some loss of refrigerant. We at the moment route the pipe
through our patio doors which are therefore slightly ajar but my intention
is to cut a 2" x 1" slot out of the bottom of the door to route
the pipe
through so we can have the doors closed.
