The keys aren't the issue. The *best* way to do it would be to replace the
door handles with iButton Locks (http://www.weblocksmith.com/) and
be done
with it - except that they are pretty ugly!. I may put one on the garage
door. Wifey uses quite a bit of HA in the house and doesn't really mind it,
but she is not technically minded - she has no need for an email address or
mobile phone.
I still haven't found out if you can have an iButton lock open 'for a
while'
or you have to unlock it on each use. I suppose it is a bit like a Yale
lock, but I don't want to leave the garage door open if I am pottering
around the garden.
