RE: ShowShifter Review
IPV6 is "already there", just virtually no-one has bothered
implementing it.
The "problem" that IPV6 was meant to solve was one of lack of
space left in
the IPV4 address space.
However, NAT (Network Address Translation) has dealt with virtually all of
the problems that were believed to be there. Virtual Hosting has dealt with
some of the other problems.
Basically, it's a lot cheaper to install a load of NAT IPV4 kit than it
would be to install IPV6 stuff, so why bother?
