Two main reasons.

Firstly, I don't think that this group should encourage advertising. I
respect how Mike and Li have approached it, and try to following their
model
- namely responding to questions about our sites, but not trying to shove
push them every time someone asks "where can I get a...". In some
of the
cases where I _have_ posted "adverts" to the group, I've
discussed them
separately with Mark McCall first to get his permission first.

Secondly, I'm not on the marketing distribution lists, so I don't know
about
the offers until they go live.

In this particular case, I've been out of the office for a while, and
didn't
read the group between thursday afternoon last week and yesterday morning.
