Careful with doing this as the amplifier will see a difference impedance
depending on how and how many speakers are connected at any one time. This
will affect the volume as well. Below 4 ohms a lot of amps get very hot
and
don't like it. Some of the high end ones will drive into 2 ohms happily I
believe.
For example, connecting a pair of 4 ohmn (nominal) speakers in parallel
will
present a 2 ohm impendance - not good.
