Did any of you see the Money program yesterday night re-the "Identity
theft"
crimes?

For those who did not, basically bad guy's were either stealing your credit
card details and/or rummaging through your dustbins (trash cans - for our
USofA Cousins) and finding old bank statements and other personal
information and then using this info to acquire new credit cards using your
name and running up large bills at your expense all without you
knowing....not nice.

The point, imagine how I felt when tonight I arrived home to find an urgent
letter from my credit card company fraud department telling me to call them
immediately, which I promptly did, they said there has been some abnormal
spending on my card so we went through the payments and it turned out when
I
bought the Pronto and some other bits from Laser I was credited an amount
back onto my card but because the amounts did not match it sounded the
alarms! boy was I pleased! just goes to show the Banks are trying to sort
things, good work my card company.

B.

end OT.
