Err, how about:
"Bought if from James for a score. He bought it from from the
liquidators
after the company he worked for went bust (that bit about going bust is
true) for twenty quid - but it wouldn't fit in his lounge. He also offered
me a huge network cabinet, but there's nowhere to put it so I declined.
