Hi James.

I'm using VB6, I'm just playing around with some interface design
experiments for a Jukebox frontend. As I have all my MP3s in an
\ARTIST\ALBUM\SONG.MP3 directory structure, I'm playing with having 1
Dirlist box focused on the root of the MP3 drive, (therefore showing
artists), a 2nd one adjacent to it that switches to whatever directory is
highlighted in the first one, (therefore showing albums by the selected
artist), and finally a FileListBox which switches to show the contents of
the directory highlighted in Dir2, (therefore showing the songs on the
selected album). I don't want to use the common dialogs, as I want these
three listboxes to be purely a search&select window onto the MP3 drive,
underneath will be buttons for "add to playlist" and so on, as
well as all
the winamp transport controls etc.

Cheers.
