You could of course leave a small bird table close to the aerial for them
to feed on. Better still if its made of metal and wired live. This way the
birds will land on your aerial fine, but when they go to peck of the bird
table!!!!!!

You could run two wires close together along the length of the aerial, with

the worlds largest resistor on the end, when the bird makes a path of
smaller
resistance...*poof*
