Yes, but that doesn't make it legal ;-)
In practice, I'm not aware of ANY instances of proceedings against
individuals for breach of this term of contract. Worst that tends to happen
is likely to be a "we don't support that - you're not allowed to do
that" if
you phone up the "help" desk.

All MS software after Win98SE allows you to share any connection to the
internet using a LAN.
