Got the 64k version and have found it to be excellent. Not really fast at
64k but it is always on (as is my PC) and for the price you simply can't
beat it. It is something like ?17 per month for 64k CM, a phone line and
basic Digital TV. My Father has the 256k faster version for ?20 extra per
month and it is fast and reliable.

On top of a TV/Phone package the 64k Cable Modem is a no-brainer. Set up is
simply a USB or NIC connection, you can use ICS on Win2000 (although NTL
don't support Win2000). The Cable modem will arrive by courier the day
after
you order it and well before the install date. It is worthwhile getting the
CM MAC address registered at this point as it will speed things up after
installation. Mine was up 4 hours after NTL installer left and has crashed
only once (but I think that was my fault <g>) since then, which was 6
months
ago.

Hope this helps,

Michael
