Rod Hull is a case in point - short sighted bird and crashed. The fishing
line was left out of the news article.
I saw it at a pub and (the wire as it was) was about 4 to 6 inches above
the
aerial and visible from the ground but thin as well. You could always put
some little flyers on it for the short sighted birds. The line needs to be
visible but not big enough for a bird to perch on.

I'm not sure if this ones a windup as well. But will be birds
actually see the fishing line? Does it need to be some nice
thick stuff and will the birds just try and land on that instead.
I don't want to see them crashing.
