This email was delivered to you by The Free Internet,

I've got a weird wireless networking problem.

When I use Netbios to copy files in one direction in the network (802.11b) I get around 6 Mbits.

When I copy files in the other direction it crawls along at 1-2.

I've been through the knowledge base, and tried using different network cards, disabled internet connection sharing, even torn some of my hair out. Can't work out what's going on.

Any ideas?

Not using directional cable are you?  Sorry, couldn't resist :)

Which way is it slower?
