Sounds eminently reasonable to me. Just need to get approval from SWMBO -
in which case I can only watch and yearn.... One day I shall slip it in by
stealth...

Sorry, that's what I meant - it's easier using 1 Rabbit per 8 channels
(with
PIC for triac firing etc) than trying to make a PIC do the firing and high
level stuff too (with 1 Rabbit controlling multiple lots of 8 channels)
