Um.. Yes !

It's a fake fireplace - no flue - but
will have the effect of one...sort of - will be tiled with fire-burned
tiles, and a soft warm light. All contained in itself. Thought it would
make good use of the space by putting all the A/V gear there....

I'm confused! "Here you can see the fireplace being built and the AV
gear being installed" - You AV gear is installed behind the fireplace
