Cool ... so my new 512Mb 1.2 Ghz Athalon that's sitting here with no real
purpose other than making me feel better about having a reasonably meaty
machine can now do something usefull.

(Actually, I did a bit of ripping with Audiocatalyst on Friday and got read
speeds from the CD of 15x or greater and compression times for a 5 minute
track of 12 seconds! Wicked...)

Cool ... what alternative settings are there? Don't suppose you could cut

Not too shabby ... HD's are cheap enough nowadays. Have you tried running
it
across a network?
