I mentioned this to Keith the other day there, Keene quoted me £90 a unit
to
go from a Euro SCART (I think RGB out) to S-V as I feed the projector S-V
for just about everything, all routed through the AX1. the AX1 will happily
switch composite, S-V and component video, but I can only get a component
out from a DVD, not ON Digital, Tivo or VHS. Since I watch virtually
everything from Tivo or DVD I basically use a JVC S-VHS as a converter to
get Tivo and ON D into S-V to save switching the projector to composite,
there is a huge difference in quality, so a converter while not needed
would
be *very* nice to have. That would let me have a cleaner source for both
video and audio directly to the amp instead of routing it through another
box, it would also cut down on cabling, a bit!
