It wouldnt fit.
I have two of the Converta sockets in my kitchen below the worktop level.
They are really useful but they extend to either side of the existing hole.
That would foul the raised part of the X10 adapter plate at the left hand
side. Also both sockets would be either Off or On at the same time.
