Title: Homevision and HV phone

One for you HV users...

When HV phone is added, can it also serve as the telephone answering machine?.
The manual seems to suggest that to play a recording needs the services of a PC (ie WAV file).
If it can't, then can it still detect DTMF if a separate ansphone has seized the line?, or does HV phone also need to go off hook?

Given that the Meteor CID unit is so popular over here, I take it that the HV phone/CID unit doesn't work on BT's version of CID?

cheers

John
