OK, good info, thanks! :)  Hadn't considered mounting modules locally.  Bit
of a bodge really but could work.  I think I'll wait and see what the
wiring
in the new place is like (haven't moved yet) but it does seem like it could
be a HA dream.  It's already got CCTV and IR repeaters (for the CCTV) in at
least two rooms ;)

One other thing that's always puzzled me.  Can you arm an alarm to take
cats
(and other family pets) into account.  Actually, not just alarm, but other
motion sensors too?  Basically, we have pets and would like to arm
downstairs zone on the alarm while we're asleep upstairs.  Also, it would
be
nice to be able to detect presence while away from home (over the web for
instance) without the cats stuffing it up. Is there a way around this
problem?
