> I have thought about the electronic version?

Yes, I am seriously considering switching over to it once our current
year's subscription run out (you can't switch half-way). I think it
costs US$15 or so to subscribe the electronic version whereas the paper
version costs US$50.

> Does it come with all the Adverts ??

I believe it doesn't. For a change, adverts in the magazine are actually
quite interesting to read to see what's available in the market place.

There are all sorts of wacky projects being featured. That's what makes it
such a good read. For instance, in the current issue #131, the following
projects are being featured:

Wireless Data Link
High-Performance Oscilloscope Amplitude Calibrator
A SCUBA Dive Monitor
Ethernet Home Networking

The magazine was started by Steve Ciarcia. He used to be the columist for
a section of Byte mazagine with the same name as the magazine now. He
wrote articles and made project about applying the computer and
microcontrollers to do interesting things. Byte used to be a great
computing magazine before it went really commercial and turned into a mere
telephone directory of adverts. Ciarcia didn't agree with the direction of
the magazine was taking and went his only way, taking a chunk of
readership including myself with him.
