Fair cop, gov ;-)
As an aside, though. A mate of mine renovated a cottage a couple of years
ago. His bathroom got held up for 7 MONTHS because the plumber got half way
through the job then kept cancelling. It turned out the plumber was
freelancing as a web designer on the side, and was getting more money for
those contracts that the plumbing ones. Sadly, he wasn't honest to his
plumbing clients about this ;-)
By the way, your KAT5 stuff gets more and more useful as follows:
I was round at my parents last weekend, and we went into their garage to
look at a chest freezer they're going to give us when the piles of stuff
through the garage are finally dumped. In the "to dump" pile was
a 21" FST
telly.
So I asked "you're not dumping that, are you?"
"Yes"
"Why?"
"Because the push buttons don't work, and it was too big" (he is
a different
generation, isn't he? His new telly is 14")
One quick inspection later, and it turns out the telly has a row of 20
channel buttons on the front panel, and a manual tuning dial for each under
a cover. Buttons 1-4 are broke, but 5-19 work fine. Furthermore button 20
is
marked "A/V". One even quicker inspection later, and the
"A/V" button turns
out to relate to a composite video IN 35mm socket.
Open boot, in goes telly... Volume to zero... SCART to composite... KAT5!

Huh !
Give a plug for one of your employers stores and get misquoted into the
bargain!!!
It was Mark who said his plumber did the fuse changeout.
When I had my bathroom done about 15 years ago it suffered waterleaks cos
of
a duff plumber. When the kitchen was done I did all the plumbing myself.
Then 5 years ago I remodelled the bathroom including moving the toilet. All
the pipework is conceiled which is more than the "proper" plumber
managed.
I dont mind doing any type of DIY but I have vowed NEVER to do a bathroom
again if it is the ONLY one in the house. I would add an En-Suite or a
downstairs loo then redo the bathroom but never again diasble the only
toilet.
A kitchen you can do without, thats what takeaways are put on this earth
for, but late at night there just isnt anywhere to go to the loo.

Personally, Keith, I'd get an electrician to do this. My plumber's a bit
unreliable ;-)
