Definitely! It would also stop people borrowing the item since it may
not work without an X10 controller to switch it on <grin>

Hmmm. I would assume that in this case the X10 socket would be like
an isolating switch so you would need both on for the unit to be on,
but socket off or module off would turn the appliance off. Not sure
if the X10 signal would go through though. Might try plugging an AM10
into an AM10 and see what happens.
