Folks

Quick query, when using CAT5 for wiring up PIR sensors etc. Is there any
standards regarding which coloured wires to use for what. I was thinking
of doing the following:

BROWN / White & WHITE / Brown - LIVE 12V (both wires to reduce
impedance)
BLUE / White & WHITE / BLUE - 0V
ORANGE / White & WHITE / Orange - Alarm Circuit
GREEN / White & WHITE / Green - Tamper Circuit

That way the old blue / brown for neutral / live is maintained.

Any comments welcome.

Steve
