I don't mail the spammers & tell them to stop, I mail their ISP and let
them
know what one of their users is doing, or at least it informs them that one
of their SMTP servers is acting as an open relay and is allowing people to
use it for spam.

I must admit, I very rarely get spam (kiss of death) but that's because I'm
carefull with what I do with my email address, that's why I'm fairly sure
the
spammers got my details from Yahoogroups.
