In the good old days I would have brewed up cables to suit but with ATA100
and 80 way IDC cabling on 40 way connectors I can't so maybe you guys might
know somewhere that can help.

I'm looking for IDE cables - UDMA/ATA100 - but what I want is a cable that
doesn't have about 6 inches of wasted length between the two drive
connectors. I'm looking to install ATA100 drives in a tower case in
adjacent
bays. Two inches between the two drive connectors should be plenty and
would
allow for a longer cable (16") between the motherboard and the first
drive
connector.

Anyone know where I can source such cables (or get them made up).

Phil
