        Hmmm - yep the strain on a car battery can be very high !

600W unit say 80% efficient (guess) @ 12V is 62.5A - (1.5KW surge is 156A)

150W unit say 80% efficient (guess) @ 12V is 15.6A - ( 450W  surge is 47A)
