Hi Phil,

graphics at the

I can't test this at home as I don't have any old messages on this
system, and I can't seem t make it send me one with an advert...!
But try getting the properties for the image. Hopefully its domain
will be something like ads.yahoo.com or something similar. Then open
your hosts file and chuck in
127.0.0.1 ads.yahoo.com
I do this all the time to get rid of banner ads - it just leaves a
red X where it should be. However yahoo might use
www.yahoo.com/blah/blah in which case you'd need something a bit
cleverer, like one of the ad blocking proxy servers you can get.

:-) If "tools/ internet options / connections/ surftime connection/
set default" doesn't fix it, you can chuck something redundant
infront of the non surftime number - eg 150 (cue kicking from Keith!)
or similar, preferably non human answered number in, which means your
PC can never dial the expensive number on its own, and if you do want
to connect t the expensive number, just double click it in DUN/ a
shortcut, remove your 'doh-buster portion, and you're good to go!
