all the pins fitted t the shell. ?
If
not then if the RGB pins (with associated grounds) are not there it CANT be
an
RGB lead.

...when it's a Currys RGB PS2 lead.
Try explaining t the Currys salesmen that an RGB + audio lead needs
more than the composite video + Left and Right audio connections
made.
They insist it is RGB becase it says so on the box ... I agree that
the box says it is but the colour fringing, dullness of display and SCART
pinout diagram say otherwise. Anyway ... because I've opened it then they
say that they won't take it back however they will test it and if it is
faulty they will swap it for another of the same type. I'm not happy
about them "testing" it as I had t explain t the muppet what the
difference was between composite and RGB!
As
far as they're concerned if it shows a picture then that's what its
supposed
t do.

Anyway ... just bought the Sony RGB lead and it's immeasurably
better!
