If you are using a controller t  switch it on and off you may as well go
for the cheaper option.  Buy a cheap PIR and rig up a solenoid value
similar t  the ones Ian Bird and myself use for automatic irrigation.

It would probably be very easy but you would have t  run a cable t  it and
fit a relay inside the unit.

If you are running a cable then why not use one of the simpler options.

9V wall wart indoors. +ve connected t  the positive battery terminal of the
battery connector, -ve of power supply connected t  Homevison 0V terminal.
Connect the -ve battery terminal of the scarer t  one pin on Port A of
Homevision. Homevision would then control the power t  the Scarer.

Another option - just use a wall wart t  power it and plug it int  an
Appliance Module.

Seriously, how easy would it be able t  replace the "on/off
switch" with a
Homevision-controlled "on/off switch".

I was thinking of putting one by the back door, but only having it turned
on
when the house goes int  "secure mode"???

What do people think. I would guess that a burglar might be a bit surprised
by being drenched!

just debating whether t  g  the wet moggy route or the ultrasonic route...

am tempted t  say that the wet moggy aligns with my sense of justice
(Claymore mines are also appealing, but might annoy the neighbours).
