How about ZERO COST!

Make up a lead by cutting an S-Video lead in half.

One plug goes into your DVD player, the other into your AV amp.
Terminate BOTH the cut ends on the SCART Plug.

After you have done this the units will still be double terminated but if
you remove the lid off the KAT5 and remove the two 75 ohm resistors marked
R307 & R 407 you will remove the KAT5 termiantion and it will be looped
through and terminated by your amp.

Anyone know where I can find an S-Video splitter at a reasonable price that
won't double terminate the line? (£200 is not a reasonable price by the
way!)

I need to split a single S-Video output t go to my AV amp *AND* to a KAT5
feeding the TV upstairs.

Cheers

Phil
