Title: RE: [ukha_d] OT: DVD PLAYERS

I tried t order a Pioneer DVF-07 Elite from them as they had it on their web site ... they wouldn't commit t a delivery date and - more worryingly - they wouldn't commit t the price that they were showing on their web site.

Generally from the UKHC group they had the reputation that was summed up by the line in the old kids nursery rhyme "When they were good they were very very good and when they were bad they were horrid."

Well,
I bought a Samsung (quite a while ago now), then had them install the firmware upgrade. The upgrade took longer than it should have, but they dropped the carriage charge...

You could try these guys:
http://www.techtronics.com/uk/shop/50-sony-dvp-s335-335-multi-region-dvd-pla
yer.html
£85 for chipping an S335 and I see they do free pickup & delivery.

I've not had any dealings with them so I can't vouch for the service, but
they seem t know what they are doing.

Justin
