Welcome to the expensive world of Home Cinema ... can I suggest you look at
the Sony 300 disc DVD changer. It's easily controllable by IR from a Pronto
and is superb for piping round the house with a KAT5 as then you have your
whole library on tap.

Li (of Laser.com) and I have had one for a few months and I'm absolutely
gobsmacked with mine - I wouldn't swap it for anything. It has component
video outs which I don't know whether the MT1 can handle (maybe Ken can
help
out on that one).

I d also have a tiny Sony DVP-F11 (and a Panasonic A350 - see, I told you
guys that I don't get rid of kit if I can help it!) and I plan to use the
DVP-F11 as a player for watching discs that people bring round or that I've
rented/borrowed and use the changer as just a big library for my own
movies.

Get an SW10G ordered from your favourite X10 dealer (I know Mark favours
LetsAutomate but I favour Laser.Com) and you'll be able to get your setup
all working from a single Pronto-press ... mine dims the lights, turns off
the TV, turns on the video scaler and the component video KAT5
sender/receiver pair and drops the screen, it also powers up the projector
and changes the TV type on the DVD player to 16:9 rather than 4:3 - all on
a
single press. It even toggles the Universal Module that ultimately will
close the curtains as soon as I get round to sticking up the Swish rail
that's lurking in the cupboard! Of course another press reverses everything
too. (Most impressive for visitors!)
