Jenni,

B5 is *the* best of the sci-fi shows by a country mile, well more
intelligent than any of the Treks.

Farscape is just plain good fun; oh and Claudia Black is not displeasing
eye candy :-)

Of course, I like sci-fi :-)
I do, however, have a low tolerance for the Star Trek stuff, as
nine times out of ten (rather than 7 of 9 ;-) ) it ends up with some
preachy sh*te about "but thats what makes us human", or trying
desperately to cram eco-warrior stuff down your throat!
(here is where I prove, beyond all shadow of a doubt that I am
VERY SAD) The severity of the gag reflex is related to how much
involvement Rick Berman had to do with the episode/film.
This is why I never got into B5 (thats Babylon 5 for Brian :-) )
too much "I learned something t day" tacked onto teh end.....
As for Farscape, wellagain, looked like a kiddie program, so
never bothered, I may well be missing something, but I
don't feel compelled to bother ...
