Keyboard and mouse extensions aren't too expesive at all ... however I don't know how far you can extend before you get problems...

 

I'm sure I have seen some keyboard and mouse extenders that work on CAT5 though - let me try t remember where I saw them.

That would work, In my office I have a KMV some long leads, I know you can get some very long extenders, I dont know about the cost

The only way I see you doing this is a keyboard/mouse extension lead to the RF receiver and locate the RF receiver in your AV room...

The Logitech has a range of about 4m in free air at home here...
