Agreed ... I have a fairly large number of remotes on my 1Mb Pronto (including the setup remote for my CRT projector which is a demon of  a thing) and I still have 65% memory free...

I am in the process of completely rebuilding my CCF file for my 1Mb Pronto. At the moment I have got as far as loading 500 buttons and learning Ir codes against each of them. I still have 75% memory free. As far as I can see, the only way you are likely to require the 2Mb version is if you are going t have lots of fancy graphics, background pictures and large CD jukebox listings. There is no way you are going t run out of memory if you are simply replacing other remotes.
