Hi All,

Got my Pronto yesterday thanks to LetsAutomate. Very quick service!! (apart
from UPS taking 2 days to deliver and their web tracking showing it was out
for delivery the next day after I ordered it)

Downloaded all the ccf files I could get my hands on and had a go at
putting together a few screens. Good fun. I pinched and modified someone
else's ccf (can't remember who's at present) and learned it my remotes.

SWMBO thinks I am completely sad but I can see her using it soon.
:o) Will be adding a few SWMBO screens over time just to get her
interested.

The machine itself is great but I did notice that the contrast is a bit
poor unless you have either good lighting or the backlight on. Seems to
suffer from the same fate as my Psion Series 5 screen with a lot of
reflections. Is the Pronto 2Mb any better in this respect. I know Psion did
a new display for the Revo which is much better. I also think I might see
if I can get some of the screen protectors you get for the Psion as these
are reported to give better contrast.

Otherwise this is an excellent device and I am going t have some fun with
designs over the next few months including adding the X10 stuff seeing as I
bought the All house IR-X10 interface.

Regards
Dave...
