Not long ago Sotheby's auctioned off some modern art which included a
7 segment LED installation.
This thing was wall-to-wall (over 6ft high, don't recall exactly how
wide - certainly several feet) 1" LED displays in green and red
displaying randomly incrementing numbers. The leading, trailing and
intermediate zeroes were blanked, and the effect was impressive. It
took a while t  work out exactly what was going on, and it was a nice
light show t  boot.
